ひったくりや子供への犯罪の発生情報を携帯電話に速報する「安まちメール」の利用者を増やそうと、大阪府警は日本マクドナルドと提携し、同メールに登録すると大阪府内の３１９店舗でフライドポテトが半額になるキャンペーンを始める。まず思うのは、「安まちメール」って何？

安まちメールの「安まち」とは、「安全なまちづくり」の略。府内に全64カ所ある警察署の管内で起こった事件の概要や犯人の特徴などを知らせるのが目的で、警察署に通報があってから1時間をめどに配信する。申し込むには、携帯電話の正式メニューからメールアドレスなどを登録する。ネーミングセンスの悪さに脱帽ですが、これがまたすごく人気があって、今年の３月で登録者数が13万人。でもこんなメールもらっても本当に役にたつのかな？ITと防犯って、いろいろな試みがありますが、ほとんどが無意味な気がする。パケットの無駄遣い。
で、本題の記事だけど、この無意味な防犯システムとマクドナルドがタイアップ。もう、マックが必死なのはわかりますが、日本という国が本当にわからない。少子化万歳だねもう。。。
